▍ THE WORK

I make things that shouldn't be able to coexist and then force them to. Glitch and mythology. Anime aesthetics and databending. Characters rooted in worlds with no names yet. Dark, technical, and always human.

The glitch is the point. When a machine breaks down and shows you its seams — that's honest. I'm interested in that. The corruption that reveals something truer than the original.

I've been making art for a long time. Ink, digital painting, character design, glitch work, illustration rooted in anime and mythology and the kind of worlds that don't have names yet. It's always been the thing underneath everything else. The constant.

▍ WHERE THIS CAME FROM

Before CKURO.ART there was Sunset City — a community page built around one simple idea: share the most beautiful thing any of us see for free every day. Sunsets. It grew to 13,000 followers. Then life got louder than the page, and the page went quiet.

The followers stayed. I didn't ask them to. Years of silence, and they were still there when I looked back.

That's when I started thinking about what this could become. Not a revival. Something that grew out of it.

CKURO.ART is the answer. A place for human-made art — verified, real, made by people with lives behind them. The community-first spirit that made Sunset City what it was at its peak. It just looks different now.

▍ THIS IS A COLLECTIVE

CKURO.ART was never meant to just be mine. The vision was always a place where artists could show their work, build something together, and exist without competing with content no human made.

If you make things with your hands and your mind — illustration, glitch art, photography, music, 3D, anything — there's a place for you here. The verification process is real. So is the community.
