I'm C. Kuro. Captain Kuro, if you've seen the guy in the green trench coat, built half out of machine parts. He's me. A mechromancer: he finds dead tech and brings it back to life.
That's also just how I work. I draw mechs, monsters and the people inside them by hand, in ink first. Then I break the files on purpose, with an engine I built myself, and build something living out of the wreckage. Biomech growing through dead machinery. Clean lines that survived the crash.
I've been making art for a long time: ink, digital painting, character design, glitch. The glitch is a tool, not the point. The point is the thing you're looking at, and that a person made every decision in it.
▍ WHERE THIS CAME FROM
Before CKURO.ART there was Sunset City, a community page built around one simple idea: share the most beautiful thing any of us see for free every day. Sunsets. It grew to 13,000 followers. Then life got louder than the page, and the page went quiet.
The followers stayed. I didn't ask them to. Years of silence, and they were still there when I looked back.
That's when I started thinking about what this could become. Not a revival. Something that grew out of it.
CKURO.ART is the answer. A place for human-made art: verified, real, made by people with lives behind them. The community-first spirit that made Sunset City what it was at its peak. It just looks different now.

Off the drawing board my name is Julian Waits, and I've spent more than eight years in IT and tech. Apple first, then managed service providers, where "the network is down" meant my phone was ringing.
At AnyDesk I went from cold-calling to closing deals to looking after customers once they'd signed, then on to ShyftOff. So I can explain a server problem to the person paying for the server, without making either of them feel dumb.
I've earned AZ-104, Security+, Network+, Cloud+ and A+. I designed and built this site, accounts and payments and all, and I build sites, bots and tools for other people too.

Commissions are open. Musicians get a cover plus a vertical loop where every cut lands on a real bass hit from your track. Worldbuilders and TTRPG folks get character and mech sheets, spot art and creatures.
