A MAKER'S INSTRUMENT —
POWERFUL, A LITTLE DANGEROUS, ALIVE.
The new shell docks, splits, and breathes. EVA clears the deck for the canvas; Glaedr packs the rack with instruments. Same engine. Your layout.

CTRL-K · EVERYTHING
Every effect, pack, and command from one keystroke. Type three letters, land on the layer.

HOLD · CULL · BLEND
The layer stack is a live rig. Hold a layer to pin it, cull it without deleting, drive blends from audio.

PARAMS THAT TEACH
Opt-in help on every parameter — what it does, why it breaks. Growth, not babying.

◈ THE VIGIL — the mark in the header. It watches the render, not you. Yours to modify.
PICK YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM.

For stills. The console recedes, the canvas breathes. Seed, sort, hold — trust the first instinct, save the recipe.
For video. Instrument-dense: LFOs on any parameter, audio driving the blend, beat-gridded chops at 95.7 BPM.

STACK, MODULATE & MASK EVERY ONE.
Gate weave, sprocket flicker, warm home-movie rot.
Interlaced surveillance mush. Timestamp-grade paranoia.
Recompressed until it hurts. Meme-grade crunch.
Pocket-cam 2001 — flash-blown colour, JPEG seams.
Hard palette clamps for loops, stickers, posts that travel.
The same clamps tuned calm — covers, UI, restraint.
Purple-shifted sync loss. Goes berserk on purpose.
City-scale byte-noise. Texture like a machine habitat.
Sky-tuned static — the signal after sign-off.

NO PROMPTS. NO GENERATORS. NO SHORTCUTS.
EVERY FRAME THAT LEAVES C-SUITE WAS BROKEN BY A HUMAN HAND — ON PURPOSE.
The instrument teaches; it doesn't take the wheel. Growth, not babying. Your renders are computed from your parameters — the same input gives the same file, byte for byte, on the day you made it and ten years after. Built by one person and the collective around it. Small team, long memory.
TAKE IT HOME.

Stretch and Screw now actually work — the first build where they ever have.
- FIXStretch and Screw now actually work — in every build since 2.2.0 the bundled FFmpeg lacked the two audio filters they depend on (
atempo, asetrate): the app asked, the request failed silently, and the audio came out unchanged. The FFmpeg build now includes both. - CHGNothing else moved — no engine changes this release; not one pixel of output differs.
- CHGCorresponding source updated — the FFmpeg build script published at ckuro.art/oss/ffmpeg/ now matches the shipped binary exactly.

“WINDOWS PROTECTED YOUR PC” — THAT'S NEWNESS, NOT DANGER.
Every C-Suite build is code-signed. SmartScreen still side-eyes young files: reputation is earned per-release, by download volume, and a fresh build starts at zero — signed or not. (There's no certificate money can buy that skips this; Microsoft closed that path in 2024. Trust is downloads.) We're signed; Windows earns trust by the crowd. You're early — that's the point.
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

App: C-Suite-Wired-v2.4.4-win64.zip
- CLICK “MORE INFO”. The dialog hides the useful button behind that link.
- CHECK THE FILE NAME — same zip you downloaded. Properly paranoid? Verify the SHA-256 below first. We insist.
- “RUN ANYWAY”. That click is you being early, not you ignoring a warning that matters.
Get-FileHash .\C-Suite-Wired-v2.4.4-win64.zip -Algorithm SHA256The output must match the SHA-256 printed on the download card above — byte for byte. A different hash means a different file: don't run it, tell us.
Wired isn't for you? Reply to your receipt within 30 days. The key dies, the money returns. That's the whole policy.
Fully offline. It phones nothing home — there's nothing in it to phone with. Your files never leave your machine.
- One unlock, one person. Install it on your own machines, as many as you use.
- What you make is yours. Every frame C-Suite renders is your work, to sell, license, or publish commercially. We claim nothing in it.
- Don't resell or redistribute the app itself, or the licence key that unlocks it.
- It ships as-is. It's an instrument for breaking images on purpose; it comes with no warranty that it won't break something you didn't mean.
- Your files stay yours. C-Suite is fully offline — it phones nothing home, and there is no telemetry in it to phone with.
▸ CHANGELOG — 16 RELEASES
The free edition's export mark — and an LGPL encoder.
- ADDExports carry a C-Suite Free mark — placed inside each platform's safe zone (bottom-right on landscape, bottom-left on portrait, clear of the caption band).
- CHGVideo export now uses an LGPL encoder — the free build is fully LGPL, no proprietary components.
The Beat Update — a tempo grid, snapping, and LFO sync.
- ADDBeat Grid — a visible beat / downbeat grid on the timeline: auto-detected BPM with ½ / 1 / 2× timebase, tap-tempo, and manual entry.
- ADDPhase nudge + Set Beat 1, beats-per-bar (2–12), and swing (straight → triplet).
- ADDTrim snaps to the grid — bar-perfect loops.
- ADDLFO sync-to-grid — effects lock to your track's tempo, with "Align phase → beat 1."
- FIXLFO beat-sync now works — the detected tempo finally reaches the LFO dialog (it never had).
Chop & Screw — screw, stretch-to-length, and beat-chop for Glaedr audio.
- ADDChop & Screw (Glaedr AUDIO panel) — shape a loaded track non-destructively; a processed copy feeds the mixer and export, the original is untouched. Runs on the bundled ffmpeg — no new dependencies, fully offline.
- ADDScrew — tape-slow (
asetrate): pitch and tempo drop together, the authentic chopped-&-screwed sound (artifact-free). 0.50–1.00×, default 0.80. - ADDStretch to length — fit a song to a duration by tempo, pitch preserved (
atempo). Match Clip reads the loaded video's length; a colour-coded zone bar flags clean (0.7–1.5×) / caution / hard-limit. - ADDChop — cut on the BPM beat grid and rearrange: 2×Bar, Stutter (×2–8), Repeat, Reverse, with a ½ / 1× / 2× timebase that locks the grid to the true beat.
- CHGAudio only — no image changes; every effect still renders byte-identically (34 effects).
Rutt-Etra Scanlines — a new analog video-synth effect.
- ADDRutt-Etra effect (Phase 4 · Textural) — the analog video-synth scan processor. Rebuilds the image as glowing horizontal scanlines that bulge toward you by local brightness, turning a flat photo into a 3D wireframe-relief "terrain" on black — the classic cyan-scanline-portrait look.
- ADDLine color three ways: Mono (pick any hex — cyan
00eaffby default), Source (keep the photo's colors), or Palette — reuses the v1.6 palette system and editor (CKURO ◈ by default), so the relief inherits every dither palette. - ADDControls: line gap, displacement (internally clamped so lines never leave the frame), displace-by luminance / hue / saturation, invert, thickness, glow (neon bloom), horizontal / vertical orientation, background (black / source-dark / keep-source), and a subtle perspective rake.
- ADDPairs with Wave Warp — stack it in front for the wavy top edge; the warp is not baked in, so the two compose freely.
- CHGAdditive release — every existing recipe renders byte-identically; effect count 33 → 34.
The Dither Update, finished — the palette editor lands.
- ADDPalette editor. The Dither palette is now a full swatch editor: pick a built-in, import a .hex / .gpl / .txt, add / remove / lock swatches, shuffle the unlocked ones, and tune any color with HSV bars + a live preview. It replaces the palette dropdown.
- ADDTwo more retro palettes — NES and Apple II (Lospec-verified) — joining CKURO ◈, Game Boy DMG, PICO-8, Commodore 64, CGA, EGA, ZX Spectrum and Mac 1-bit.
- CHGThe palette editor is now the sole palette control — the old dropdown and the separate .hex field are retired (import lives inside the editor).
The Dither Update — palette dithering (the big one).
- ADDNew "Palette Ramp" color mode in Dither: dithers brightness at up to 32 levels and maps it through a color palette — the Ditherboy-style look.
- ADDBuilt-in palettes: CKURO ◈ (signature), Game Boy DMG, PICO-8, Commodore 64 (Pepto), CGA, EGA, ZX Spectrum, Mac 1-bit — plus Lospec .hex import (one color per line).
- ADDRamp Offset slides the palette along the brightness ramp for a deliberate color-glitch.
- ADDKnoll pattern dithering — a new arbitrary-palette method with the best color fidelity, rock-steady on video (the recommended color method for clips).
- ADDPalette-aware error diffusion — Floyd/Atkinson/Stucki/... diffuse toward the nearest palette color (luma-weighted), with serpentine (Diffusion Quality = Full) + Error Strength.
- ADDIGN — a new procedural ordered mask (Interleaved Gradient Noise), built for animation.
- ADDTemporal modes (video): Stable (calm, default), Drift (mask scrolls), Boil (per-frame reseed).
- CHGDither Levels now go up to 32 (was 8) for smoother gradients. Every existing dither recipe renders identically on its defaults.
- FIXThe blue-noise mask data is now bundled in the packaged app, so Blue Noise (True) works in the build.
Dither upgrades, dot-crawl fix, steadier previews.
- ADDDither → "Blue Noise (True)" — a real void-and-cluster blue-noise mask: cleaner, more organic grain than the original Blue Noise (which is unchanged and still available).
- ADDDither → "Diffusion Quality: Full (serpentine)" — an optional higher-quality error-diffusion path (serpentine scan, full kernel) for Floyd-Steinberg, Atkinson, Stucki, JJN, Sierra and Burkes. "Fast" (the default) is unchanged.
- FIXVHS Chroma Bleed → Dot Crawl now actually shows. The fine alternating chroma buzz along edges was silently a no-op; it now appears, and in Glaedr it crawls across frames.
- FIXEVA scrub previews are stable. Scrubbing to the same frame twice now renders identically and matches the exported frame — a seed leak in the render pipeline is fixed.
- FIXPixel Sort at an angle keeps unsorted areas crisp. Only the sorted streaks are recomposited, so the rest of the image is no longer softened by the rotation.
- FIXWindow shrink no longer eats text. The window now has a minimum size, so labels stop phasing together or disappearing when it's made small.
- CHGFaster VHS tape-dropout and Codec Rot (datamosh) rendering — identical output, just quicker.
- CHGInternal: a golden-image regression harness now guards every effect against accidental change.
EVA export: live progress + instant cancel
- FIXEVA Export MP4 no longer appears frozen - the progress bar now updates continuously instead of sitting at 0% until the very end.
- FIXCancel during an EVA export now stops within about a second instead of hanging the app - workers check a shared cancel signal and bail mid-render.
- CHGEVA video export renders in many small chunks with the source image and audio shipped once per worker - identical output, lower memory, and a responsive progress bar / Cancel.
Faster exports — streamed straight to the encoder, no giant temp files.
- CHGFaster Glaedr export — frames stream straight into the encoder (landscape + 9:16 portrait in parallel) instead of writing huge lossless temp files and re-encoding. No multi-gigabyte intermediates, and the encode overlaps the render. NVENC when available, libx264 fallback; output is identical.
Fix: the Accurate preview now caps at ~30s and plays with sound.
- FIXAccurate preview no longer renders the whole clip — it caps at ~30s from the trim start (or the full trim if shorter).
- FIXAccurate preview now plays with sound — it muxes your full audio mix into the rendered clip and opens it in your system player.
- CHGThe
</>buttons now step the previewed frame on the canvas.
Fix: the LFO timeline now refreshes the moment you set or clear an LFO.
- FIXLFO timeline refresh — configuring or removing an LFO on a parameter (and linking/unlinking audio) now updates the LFO timeline and live preview immediately, instead of waiting for the next change.
Dual-audio mixing — keep the clip's audio, layer your own on top.
- ADDDual-audio mix (Glaedr) — keep the video's original audio and lay an imported track over it, with a two-channel mixer: ORIGINAL + IMPORTED, each a 0–150% fader and a mute.
- ADDImported fade in/out in the export dialog, to ease a music bed's entry and exit.
- ADDLoop toggle in the AUDIO panel that repeats a short track to fill the clip — the waveform tiles with seam markers so you see the repeats. Off by default.
- FIXA short imported track no longer truncates the exported video — the mix is pinned to the clip length.
Live playback, subject-aware glitch, GPU tracking.
- ADDGlaedr live playback — Fast proxy preview or a frame-perfect Accurate pass, looping with frame-step.
- ADDTracker-driven glitch — mask any layer to the subject, the inverse, or a target ID, with Expand.
- ADDThree new tracker skins (Corner Lock-On, Data Tag, Dot + Trail) plus scrolling IDs and trail styles.
- CHGAnalyze now runs detection on the GPU (onnxruntime + DirectML), ~5–10× faster, byte-identical.
- CHGTracker controls hidden in EVA for a cleaner per-mode UI.
- FIXGlaedr portrait export crash on unusual frame widths.
Fix EVA video export on fresh builds.
- FIXEVA → Export MP4 failed with “No module named moviepy.editor”; pinned moviepy < 2.0 to match the export code.
Object tracking comes to Glaedr.
- ADDObject Tracker — ANALYZE runs YOLOX + ByteTrack over the trim range, cached, on a background thread.
- ADDBox + Label and Targeting Reticle skins; themed label presets + custom tokens.
- ADDFree-text parameter field in Properties, reusable by any future effect.
- FIX8K export falls back to libx264 when frames exceed NVENC's 4096px width limit.
First public release — EVA + Glaedr, 32 effects, one shared spine.
- ADDEVA (still) and Glaedr (video) over a shared engine and UI; all 32 effects upgraded.
- ADDCKURO.ART look — live mode accent (EVA purple / Glaedr gold), Bebas + Share Tech Mono, scanline console.
- FIXAudio pickers accept FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, WMA.
