A human art marketplace is exactly what it sounds like: a place where every piece was made by a human being, and you know that for certain before you buy.
That sounds like it should be the default. For most of art history, it was. The concept of a "human art marketplace" didn't need to exist as a distinct category because there wasn't another kind.
That changed. This is what CKURO.ART is for.
◈ ◈ ◈
WHY IT NEEDS TO EXIST
The problem isn't AI. The problem is that AI-generated images are being sold as human-made work in galleries, on marketplaces, and through commission platforms — and buyers can't tell the difference.
For buyers, that matters because the reason art has value is that someone made it. The specificity of a person's practice, their influences, the decisions they made at 2am finishing a piece — that's what you're buying when you buy art. A generated image has none of that. It has a prompt and a probability distribution.
For artists, it matters because they're competing for attention and income against tools that have no overhead, infinite output, and no creative history. A human artist who has spent years developing a voice is now being asked to compete in the same markets as text-to-image generators. That's not a fair market. It's a broken one.
A human art marketplace fixes the market. It sets a floor: only human-made work enters. That floor is what makes trust possible.

HOW CKURO.ART WORKS
CKURO.ART is a marketplace for original, verified human-created digital art. Every artist on the platform has been manually reviewed by a real person before they can list anything.
The review process looks at your portfolio, your application, and your creative history. We're looking for evidence of a practice — someone who makes things, has a way of making them, and has work that reflects that over time. The ◈ VERIFIED HUMAN badge on every artist profile means we've done that review.
When you buy from CKURO.ART, you're not trusting a platform's policy statement. You're trusting a process that happened before the listing ever appeared.
Artists keep 90% of every sale. The platform takes 10% to cover payment processing, storage, infrastructure, and the moderation work that makes verification possible. No monthly fees. No listing fees. No hidden costs.

HOW TO BUY HUMAN-MADE DIGITAL ART
Browse the marketplace at ckuro.art/marketplace. Every listing you see has been approved by the moderation team. The ◈ badge on the artist's profile confirms verification.
Listings come in three types:
Digital downloads deliver the original file immediately after purchase — full resolution, original format, yours to keep. Download links are valid for 72 hours from purchase and can be reaccessed through your account.
Physical prints ship directly from the artist to you. Pricing covers the artist's print and shipping costs. Estimated delivery times are listed on each piece.
Commissions are inquiry-based. You contact the artist about a custom piece, agree on scope and price, and the artist delivers to your specifications.
Payment is processed through Stripe. For questions about any purchase, the support contact is kuroninja@ckuro.cc.

HOW TO SELL YOUR HUMAN-MADE ART
If you make original work — illustration, glitch art, photography, 3D, music, or anything else — and you're a real human being who made it yourself, you can apply to sell on CKURO.ART.
The application is at ckuro.art/apply. You'll submit your name, a brief bio, your portfolio, and up to three sample works. The moderation team reviews every application manually, typically within a few days.
What gets approved: original work with a clear creative voice, consistent practice, and no AI-generated content anywhere in the portfolio.
What gets declined: AI-generated work submitted as human-made, incomplete applications, work that appears to belong to someone else, or work that violates content standards. If you're declined, you'll receive a note explaining why, and you're welcome to reapply after addressing the issue.
Once approved, you set your own prices. You keep 90% of every sale. Payouts go through Stripe Connect, which you set up from your dashboard. Funds typically clear within 2–7 business days depending on your country.
Full details on fees are at ckuro.art/pricing. Payout information is at ckuro.art/payouts.

THE HUMAN ART ETHOS
The "human art" label isn't a marketing position. It's a belief.
There is something irreplaceable about work that came from a person — from a specific life, with specific losses and obsessions and years of practice behind it. That specificity is what makes art matter. It's what makes a collector feel connected to something. It's what makes a piece worth keeping.
Algorithms don't have that. They don't have a life. They don't have a reason for the choices they make because they don't make choices — they generate outputs. The surface can look the same. The reason is different.
CKURO.ART exists to be the place where that distinction is enforced, verified, and maintained. Not as a political statement. As a foundation for trust.
If a human didn't make it, it isn't here.
That rule is absolute. It's the only way the trust is real.
