Slit-Scan

Slit-scan photography rebuilds the image so every line of the picture is from a different moment — the technique behind 2001's stargate and decades of title sequences. In Glaedr, motion becomes geometry: things that move bend; things that hold stay true.

Structural Displacement effects move the picture itself — pixels, blocks, and scanlines leaving their assigned seats. In C-Suite they stack with every other phase, take masks, and (in Glaedr) ride LFOs or the audio, so the destruction lands exactly where and when you choose.
