Smear / Echo

Smear / Echo stacks translated copies of the frame with exponential decay — motion trails that fall off like sound in a hall. Angle, spacing, and falloff shape whether it reads as speed, haunting, or malfunction.

Structural Displacement effects move the picture itself — pixels, blocks, and scanlines leaving their assigned seats. In C-Suite they stack with every other phase, take masks, and (in Glaedr) ride LFOs or the audio, so the destruction lands exactly where and when you choose.
